Happy Halloween!
Hey all! Happy Halloween!
Spent my morning making my Baked Turkey Penne for our work potluck. Mmmmm...I can't wait for lunch! I even whipped up a batch of garlic butter (with LOADS of garlic, parmesan, and italian herbs). Oooh we even have cake! "Excuse me, can you just leave that over here by my desk? Thank you!"
Weather is typical gray and wet for Halloween. Ah well... At least on Sunday we get an extra hour to sleep in! Woo hoo!
Ok here is my 2nd item on my Ulitmate Wish List:
A HOUSE ORGANIZER!! ok not one of those plastic things to put all your knick knacks in (no! not those knick knacks!... well I guess you could...) but a real live person that comes into your home and helps you organize it and clean it (well...sometimes). I need my whole house done! It's a friggin mess!!!!!!!! I am so unable to organize by myself. I just don't have the ability!
Ok and here is my shameless adverstisement for my favourite organizer Melissa! I only wish I could afford to pay her to do my whole house!

Ok so I have to give a plug out to Meg Cabot (yes the author of Princess Diaries). I have her diary/blog on my rss feed but I don't know if I can add her to my blogger list as she is not on blogger itself. Therefore I must put her diary link here -->http://www.megcabot.com/diary/?p=626#comments
Ok so about 1 in 10 she talks about her upcoming books but in the meantime she writes about anything and most of the time it's hilarious. And yes her books have the same flow as her blogs do. Yes, she is That funny. lol Her last blog cracked me up.
Check her out at www.megcabot.com as well as on MySpace (you can click on her face on MyFriends) Also check out her diary (which you can find on her main page as well).
Enjoy!

My Beef of the Day
Ok so I was looking at the newspaper while faxing and affadavit and noticed that seattle had a Wedding Expo for what they call "non-traditional" couples. aka Gay Wedding Expo. And I thought well that's cool but isn't gay marriages not recognized by Washington? So I read on and I had no clue but any gay couple who had been married prior to the ban was automatically no longer recognized and legal after the ban...well that is crap! I mean I know not everyone agrees with gay marriage but to just decide well since we are banning it then anyone before this time is no longer married...at least they could have done is say well we don't do marriages from this time forward but anyone in the past is still married (even if we cut partner benefits yada yada yada) but at least the marriage is still binding...but how utter crap (actually inserted much worse word) to just decide no, even if you have been living in gay marital bliss for 10 years (not sure when they did start allowing it) then you are no longer married. In the words of Stephanie Tanner from Full House: "How Rude!" And in my words (as well as one of Gordon Ramsay's tamer lines) What complete and utter bullocks!!
